OnlinePeptideDoctor.com is committed to evidence-based information. This page explains how we source, evaluate, review, and update every article on the platform.
Every article begins with a systematic search of PubMed/MEDLINE using compound-specific MeSH terms and free-text queries. We prioritise randomised controlled trials (RCTs), systematic reviews, and meta-analyses. Preclinical (animal/in-vitro) data is included where human data is limited, and is clearly labelled as such.
We apply a strict evidence hierarchy: (1) Cochrane reviews and meta-analyses, (2) RCTs, (3) prospective cohort studies, (4) retrospective studies and case series, (5) expert consensus and clinical guidelines, (6) preclinical data. Claims are attributed to the highest available tier.
All articles are reviewed by a member of our three-physician review board before publication. Reviewers check for clinical accuracy, appropriate caveats, and correct interpretation of study findings. The reviewing physician's credentials and specialty are displayed on every article.
Articles are reviewed and updated when significant new research is published, or on a rolling 12-month cycle — whichever comes first. The 'Last Medically Reviewed' date displayed on each article reflects the most recent review. Outdated information is corrected or removed, not archived.
Peptide and TRT research is an evolving field. Many compounds have limited human clinical trial data, and off-label use is common. We clearly distinguish between well-established findings and preliminary or preclinical evidence. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice — always consult a licensed healthcare provider.
All factual claims are cited inline with PubMed IDs (PMIDs) or DOIs where available. We use APA-style references at the end of each article. Citations link directly to the source abstract on PubMed or the publisher's site. We do not cite secondary sources when the primary study is accessible.
All content is reviewed by board-certified physicians with specialties in peptide therapy, pharmacotherapy, and testosterone replacement therapy.
